That's one of the songs off Weezer's Red Album, second track (someone correct me if I am wrong), and that's my unofficial anthem for the time being. So went to MTV and couldn't believe what I saw. Highlights included standing next to a pile of trash for nearly 2 hours with no one in the line besides myself objecting to it, and it was off the cuff. No wonder the swine flu is spreading like a wildfire in California.
I wish I had some pictures of some of the stuff I saw waiting in line to see Weezer perform one song. Not even sure what the name of the song was. But it was extremely poppy and the kids seemed to enjoy it.
Highlights from standing in line include striking up conversations with an NYU employee, a musician and an occupational therapists. Isn't that the start to a really bad joke???
So Viacom tried to get me and make me part of their system, but I shut the system down. I don't watch MTV, and I haven't for quite some time now. Maybe like MTV 4.5, I'd be interested in that.
So during my crazy 5-day trip I flew from Richmond, VA to Charlotte, NC to Nashville, TN to visit my sister,
http://www.myspace.com/kelsielauren, then I took a bus from Richmond, VA to Washington, DC to New York, NY. I stayed there for two days and got a lot of stuff done with freelancing, trying to set up contacts in NH and weeding out some bad story ideas.
Here is a picure of the the sunrise in Nashville, TN. I love sunrises even more than sunsets because it indicates the beginning of a new day!

During my time on planes and buses, I met some really interesting people, including a couple of soldiers that just got finished with basic training, a Linux programmer who was going to Nashville, a single mom who is an artist, a gentleman who owns his own clothing line and software developer from california and assistant hostel manager from california who is an assistant manager at a hostel and some sketchy characters. I really didn't take enough pictures. But here are some of the random highlights.
The I-timmy, over and out
PS I'm leaving you with the art of taking a good picture, trial and error
